The Virginia Council on the Educational Opportunity for Military Children voted to approve Kyle R. Wilson Elementary School as a recipient of the Purple Star 2nd Award for the 2023-2024 school year!

The Virginia Purple Star Designation is awarded to military-friendly schools that have demonstrated a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Schools that earn the award will receive a special Purple Star recognition to display onsite.

Receiving the Purple Star 2nd Award means that Kyle Wilson is in our second term as a Purple Star School!
